Ethan was a great host and everything matched the description perfectly! The cabin was clean and tidy! The views were amazing and it was an easy drive to town! Ethan was very responsive and had great advice! We will definitely be looking to book again when we come back down!

Hillside hideaway is an excellent cabin in a perfect location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. You cannot beat the patio’s views and privacy. We saw bears playing below from the safety of the patio as the only access is through the cabin and it’s about 25 feet high. Bears don’t jump that high. If you’re considering it, rent the cabin. You will be pleased. Great communication with the hosts.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. We traveled with 2 kids under the age of 6 and had such a great time. The cabin was beautiful and the views were amazing. Peaceful and breathtaking. The location is a great home base away from the busy strip of pigeon forge but close enough to drive for dinner or attractions! Couldn’t be more pleased!

Very nice cabin with an expansive view. comfy furnishings and check in/out was easy. We'll paved road up and easy parking. The ceiling fan in the bedroom made a constant humming noise. I let the host know and he's having it checked out. Would definitely stay again.

With respect to the location and surroundings , it was just perfect. The view through the windows was just amazing .. specially after rain .. we saw double rainbow and morning view had clouds all over the mountains .. it’s just worth it. Ethan is an amazing host, he communicated and helped us with everything that we asked for. The house is equipped with all the necessities. It’s just 15 min to pigeon forge for any shops and restaurants. Will come again!!

My husband, Conner & I stayed here for our 1st time at Smoky Mountains for 4 nights. Looks better in person than in the pictures! The clear Mountain Views were spectacular- which is why I chose this spot. The tv looks small in the pictures, but it’s not. We spent couple nights relaxing in the hot-tub( note: no instructions on how to operate hot-tub, but we looked up a video based on the model & it was easy). Used pool table, PAC Man. Everything was as advertised, flexible check in. Waking up to that view from the bedroom, 2 porches, eating breakfast facing floor to ceiling windows was breath-taking. Quiet, but not private- you can see the other cabin from your hot-tub. Safe. Close (15 /20 min drive) proximity to town/tourist area.Would HIGHLY recommend here & would stay here again. Hiked smoky mountains & saw a BLACK BEAR IN NATURAL HABITAT! Bedroom is downstairs(love). Good water pressure. Big bathtub. WE HAD NO BUGS INSIDE. Open & Airy space with lots of natural light. LOVED IT!

We loved our stay! Saw bears within 1 hour of being at the cabin! We made dinner every night on the grill and played cornhole. Hot tub was great in the evenings. Beds were super comfy. Go location to park.

The cabin is more beautiful than the pictures. Sara provided excellent directions to the cabin. It is located near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The ride up to the cabin is steep, but manageable. The driveway is steep, but I suggest you back into it. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. The air hockey table is a fun extra touch. I loved the views from the back deck.

We really enjoyed the cabin. It was in a great location: far enough from downtown Gatlinburg for quiet, privacy, and great scenery, while close enough to easily travel to the park and amenities. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished. I would highly recommend it for a couple or a family with 1-2 kids.

Such a beautiful cabin surrounded by great views and nature! If you’re looking for a peaceful, cozy place to stay while being fully immersed in nature, this is it. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and stocked with everything we needed and the location was perfect. We especially loved the hot tub after a long day of hiking and biking. We saw bears several times during our stay, which was a highlight of our trip. The hosts were kind and responsive, provided us with great local tips and made sure we felt right at home. Check-in and check-out were so easy. Highly recommend this property!
